McCain Foods:
E-commerce Visual Strategy

Through geekspeak commerce, I was responsible for developing and optimizing the visual identity of McCain Foods' digital shelf. The project focused on creating high-converting assets for Canada’s leading retailers, including Walmart, Loblaw, Sobeys, Giant Tiger, Metro and Save-On-Foods, ensuring every product met and exceeded industry benchmarks.

The Challenge

McCain required a strategic partner to unify and elevate its e-commerce presence. The goal was to transform standard product data into engaging, retail-ready visual content that exceeded retailer benchmarks across various portfolios, such as Superfries, Bistro, and Deep ‘n Delicious.

My Role & Collaborative Solution

Working alongside the content strategy team, I led the development of:

  • Retail Asset Optimization: High-end retouching and technical compliance for 100+ SKUs.

  • Data-Driven Infographics: Turning complex nutritional and prep info into "at-a-glance" visuals.

  • Enhanced Marketing Content (A+): Designing immersive layouts to bridge brand storytelling and conversion.

  • Cross-Channel Alignment: Ensuring brand consistency across diverse retail guidelines (Sobeys, Metro, Walmart).
